Details for the end of year junior and senior club presentations are as follows.
Surfcoast beats Collingwood !
Sunday, 29 August 2010 13:59

Mums vs kids at Connewarre on Saturday
A great round for the mighty Surfcoast FC this weekend, with the club winning a range of crucial matches at both junior and senior levels, highlighted by a great win in the mens Provisional 2 battle for successive promotions, with Surfcoast beating Collingwood City.
Surf Coast Academy and small Sided Games is on
Wednesday, 25 August 2010 07:27
Just a reminder that Surf Coast FC's Academy and Small Sided Games programs at The Quay are happening.
Council have re-opened the ground, and we will be undertaking the program this Saturday, with the Academy starting at 8.30 and Small Sided Games at 9 am.
Vote 1 Surfcoast FC !
Sunday, 22 August 2010 14:36

Reports are thin on the ground this week !
Out at Conewarre, a strong wind kept things interesting and the puddles and mud-holes added to the spectacle as the two Surfcoast Under 14 girls fought out a contest that was easily as close as the other one going on this weekend. Both teams have improved over the season and their final meeting for the home-and-away season was a nail-biter. With two teams at this standard, Surfcoast FC's women and girls soccer is in great shape for the future.
Still soggy underfoot !
Sunday, 15 August 2010 12:42

Heavy rain during the week kept pitches sodden across the district. Surfcoast teams took to the field this weekend battling heavy conditions and strong winds, however results generally went the Coasters' way.
TRAINING BACK ON AT THE QUAY
Monday, 09 August 2010 10:10
After a few patches of sun in the last few days our water logged pitch at The Quay has dried out a bit and training is back on, although training areas will need to be modified.
However, with rain expected in the next few days players and parents are advised to check on the website and look for club emails, as conditions could change.
The the main pitch area remains closed but we are expecting that Small Sided Games and the Academy Program will be also happen this coming Saturday.
Coasters lose top spot
Sunday, 08 August 2010 13:55

Kinder weather conditions saw Surfcoast teams take to pitches that varied in standard this weekend. A draw to Lalor United saw the FFV Provisional 2 men lose the top spot in their league, leaving them with some work ahead of them to secure promotion.
Guess whose mum needs a whirlpool ?
Sunday, 01 August 2010 13:04

Heavy rain overnight on Friday turned an already waterlogged pitch at the Quay into a rice-field. By the time the U14 girls, the FFV Men's Reserves and finally the FFV Men's Firsts had all played, it was a quagmire ! Overall, Surfcoast FC did well this weekend, in spite of the heavy conditions across the region, with wins or draws in most leagues.
Mixed Fortunes for Coasters
Sunday, 25 July 2010 14:03

The Coasters certainly didn't get it all their own way this weekend, with draws and losses in most leagues. Surfcoast teams are still leading a number of ladders though, as the business end of the season approaches.
Kinder Conditions
Sunday, 18 July 2010 12:28
Although it was still quite cold this weekend, the rain held off and there were no gales, as Surfcoast teams once again took to the field. The conditions were kinder to both players and spectators. All teams battled hard, some missing key players and a mixed bag of results was the result.
Wild and Woolly !
Sunday, 11 July 2010 13:11

A strong cold front which had ripped through WA and SA earlier in the week made its presence felt around the Surfcoast on Saturday. While conditions weren't as bad as they were forecast to be, it was hardly a pleasant day for either players or their loyal spectators. Matches at Connewarre and The Quay were buffeted by wind and the occasional light shower just added to the fun. Thankfully at The Quay, Andy's souvlakis were on hand to keep the worst of the cold at bay.

The Surfcoast teams that took to the ground over this holiday weekend managed to bring home some good results, in weather conditions that were a little kinder than those of recent weeks.
Slogging it out in the rain
Sunday, 27 June 2010 13:48
Surfcoast teams battled wet and cold conditions this weekend, with a couple of wins and a couple of draws the result. Muddy pitches and passing showers, combined with chilly temperatures made life uncomfortable for players and spectators.

Rampage at The Quay
Sunday, 20 June 2010 14:05

The visitors from Plenty Valley were trampled into the muddy pitch at The Quay on Saturday, as the rampaging Surfcoast teams controlled their matches from start to finish in both Reserve and First grades. As the Firsts match wore on, the whole of the visitors' team must have been thinking the same as their goalie, who was overheard late in the second half wishing the final whistle would hurry up and go, to put them out of their misery.
Rain fails to dampen spirits
Sunday, 06 June 2010 13:25

With winter officially upon us, we shouldn't have been suprised at the cold wet conditions this weekend. Although the men were unsuccessful, the women and girls were unaffected by the conditions, although the same could not be said for the spectators !
Great Results Keep On Coming!
Monday, 31 May 2010 11:58

Young gun Bec McGlinchey scored an amazing hattrick, including two corkers from free kicks, to snatch a win back for the open women's team after they were two goals down at half time.
While the run of perfect weather seems to have ended for a while, the great results continue to flow for Surfcoast FC, with most teams recording a win or a draw this weekend.
FFV Men cement top spot !
Sunday, 23 May 2010 13:23
Another weekend of gloriious weather saw Surfcoast teams victorious across a number of leagues, with the FFV Provisional 2 men cementing their place at the top of the table. The U16 and U12 girls retained their undefeated status and the women and the young U14 girls Yellow team recorded their first wins of the season.
Provisional 2 Men move to the top of the ladder!
Sunday, 16 May 2010 13:54

As well, two other Surf Coast teams, the girls under 14s and women, won their way into the grand final after topping their leagues.
